Now it is cool enough to work in Florida.

Our first trip in Florida for the fall was to Palmetto, near Tampa.

This USDAA trial included our first DAM team, "Sugar and Spice".

Sugar is Martin's JR terrier.   She did great.  The rest of us struggled.

Corie races around on a lovely day.  The joy of jumping!

Corie reached a major milestone when he realized that it was OK to be called off the next obstacle.  Formerly, he would lose his joy and run the rest of the course tentatively.  Now he says "OK not this one, what next?" and continues to run with the joy and enthusiasm needed to qualify.

We all enjoyed Pensacola.

We were also in Pensacola.  Naturally we saw friends from Dog-On-It.

Martin competed with Boomer, Sugar, Suzie and Fletch.  Kathy G competed with Max and Millie.  Millie won her ADCH that day!

Two of Martin's Jack Russells earned ADCH's in 2006.  Martin has been competing in agility for ~9 years and helps with JR and Border rescues.  With four rescue dogs, he doesn't feel challenged until he has made 16 runs a day.  This helps explain the student apprehension when he brought a course named Kamikaze to the top level handling course he help teach for DOI!  His engineering training helps him to optimize his path and maximize his probability of success.

An ADCH for the Jack Russel!

Kathy G earned her third ADCH in 2006 will Millie. All the dogs under her tutelage have been Jack Russells, so we know she has a good therapist.

Kathy has competed in several USDAA Nationals and has taught for Dog-On-It for many years. She can be found training our next generation ADCH members at least once a week.  Based on her broad experience training both horses and dogs, "Agility is the most fun you can have with your clothes on."

These guys all have at least one ADCH.

We are fortunate to work with a club whose long history includes many ADCHs.  Each of these friends has at least one ADCH.  Most of them still teach for Dog-On-It and have really helped Phil and Nancy keep up with the Poodle Pair.

Early in November was a great day to celebrate their success!
