I took the family to Cool Critter's NADAC trial near Bradenton, the spring training home of the Pirates, and my favorite baseball team since I was raised in Pittsburgh.  It was a fun trip especially since Pappy, Momma’s father, came along.  Corie and I had great fun with the new events like tunnels, weaves and chances.  Since it was our first NADAC event, we were novices and cleaned up.

We qualified a dozen runs between us and took several 1st, 2nd and 3rd place ribbons.  Most exciting of all, I scored best in class for a run of standard agility.  That means I beat the qualifying time for my size more than any other dog that ran the course.

We really enjoyed NADAC.  The courses are generally fast and not to complicated.  There is no table, for example, to slow you down.  The floor of the arena was loose dirt which made for tricky footing.  I knocked a few bars, especially Sunday when the big dogs ran first.  Of course, I watched them and planned my run so the results were about the same.

All in all, it was a beautiful weekend with very nice weather, good facilities, a well run trial, and lots of friends from Dog-On-It.  Many new friends too!
