Holly Cow….

Corie and Mom have really reached a new level.   In June Corie  Qed  4 of 7 runs at the USDAA trial near Raleigh.    That is the best he has ever done at USDAA.  Boy was that sun Hot!

Then he Qed 4 of 5 runs at the regional trial in Perry, GA.   CONGRATULATIONS CORIE, the newest Agility Dawg.  It was a pleasure working inside in the air conditioning and seeing the miniature ponies next door.   We were at the Georgia State Fair Grounds for a Regional USDAA Trial.

What a thrill to see those local winners compete head to head in regional Grand Prix and Steeple Chase action.  Twenty two obstacles, including the A frame and weave poles, and over 70 yards in just over 30 seconds.

Phil and Joe also shared lunch with Elicia Calhoun and her dog, Iceman.   She is a top competitor from PA and founder of WaltzingPaws.com.  It was interesting to find that all the people at our table were trained as mechanical engineers, although she is now a full time agility person.   Maybe I should require all my people to have an ME degree?

My boy Joe really enjoyed the regional GP competion.  It's almost as fast as his hockey.
