The Artists of Madison County is a small group of artists that get together to encourage and support each other in our goals as artists. We are diverse in our age and our experience. Everywhere from high school to senior citizen - amateur to professional. We meet for workshops, lectures, demonstrations & just to get together to share whatever we are working on. Our meetings are a fun relaxing time to bring your art for critique. Our critiques are designed to encourage and build up the individual while at the same time try to offer any comments that will help the artist accomplish their goals.

This spring we will be getting together for plein aire painting.

We are meeting the second Thursday each month at 6:00pm at different locations throughout the Madison County area.

We are very informal... mostly here to enjoy art & each others company. If you prefer not to paint something on site bring what you are working on and enjoy working on it. We will stay until it gets too dark to continue... but feel free to show up / leave as your time allows.
