Thank you for inquiring about our two bedroom, two bath elegant waterfront home. It is perched atop the dramatic coastal bluffs of Truro, and offers a spectacular, unobstructed view of all of Cape Cod Bay and the entire outer "arm" of the Cape -- from Provincetown to Plymouth!

Beach stairs take you down to your own private beach -- it's part of our acre of land. There is a walk-in beach shed at the bottom of the stairs, for storage of your beach paraphanalia during your stay. Our beach shower is located right on the beach, too.

At both high and low tides, the water is lovely for swimming(mid-May through end of September). With a little luck, you'll spot whales and/or dolphins frollicking in the Bay below as you lounge on the deck.

The sun sets directly across the Bay from our deck and fireplaced living room -- "the show," as our regular guests refer to the nightly spectacle, will take your breath away At dusk, the lights of distant Provincetown appear on the horizon glittering like a jeweled necklace. To the south across the Bay, a tiny arch or yellow lights twinkles from the Sagamore Bridge, and the sky glows above the distant towns of Orleans and Hyannis. Out of the dark comes the sound of the waves lapping at the shore below. If it is beauty and serenity you came for, you have arrived!

The house itself is new, but built using some antique house parts, such as century old marble sink and claw foot tub, and antique four-panel Victorian doors through out. The ceilings of the first floor are high and made of white-washed explosed beams. The hard pine floors are hand colored and stenciled before varnishing -- utterly charming effects! The living room furniture is classy and new, the bedroom dressers, armoires, head and foot boards are all antiques, adding the warmth of genuine 'Ol Cape Cod to our home.

The fireplaced living room is on the second floor, making the view of the water and bluff even more dramatic looking out of the fourteen feet of sliding glass doors. You can watch the sunsets from here or from the deck off of the living room.

Our eat-inkitchen, fully equipped, is downstairs, and has a wide glass slider leading out to a patio with a grill, outdoor dining set, and garden.

One bath and bedroom is upstairs. The other bath and bedroom is down stairs. Both beds have new queen size matresses. The couch in the living room converts into a twin bed. (The house sleeps a maximum of five.)

Our eat-in kitchen is fully equipped for cooking -- everything from lobster pot to coffee grinder to placemats.

As of this year, we are providing all sheets, towels, and beach towels. There are always plenty of sand chairs in our shed on the beach.

We are open year round, if you give us enough advance notice. Hope to hear from you soon. Weekly rates range between $1,350 and $2,620, depending on season and number of guests. Long weekends are possible during off season or at last minute during semi-off-season.
