Principal Solutions Inc. (PSI) is a California-based corporation, founded on the principle of offering quality containers and professional distribution services to meet the dictates of our customers in the Western United States.

As President of PSI and past President of the Technical Bag Committee with a twenty year membership in the Institute of Packaging Professionals (IOPP), I have the necessary expertise to offer suggestions for improvements in packaging and packaging machinery.

Flexible Intermediate Bulk Containers (FIBCs) were developed to handle the shipping of dry, free flowing materials by air, highway, rail or water carriers.

The Flexible Intermediate Bulk Container is a reusable, semi-bulk cargo handling container that is available in many standard sizes as well as any desired custom-made sizes. FIBCs are capable of carrying up to four thousand pounds. FIBCs are made of extremely strong woven polypropylene or non-coated, depending on the degree of moisture or sifting barrier the customer desires. FIBCs are reinforced with seatbelt-type strapping. They have very low tare weights and very high tear resistance. The container facilitates top loading and bottom dispensing.

The bulk container eliminates an intermediate product transfer and exposure to physical damage and contamination.
