Brethren,

          I am very excited about the year we have before us. I am filled with hope that this will be another year of fast paced growth for our lodge and a transforming year for our brotherhood.

          It is my expectation that each of us will focus on an aspect of our lodge in which you have passion and that you will turn that passion into leadership. We need a lodge full of leaders, not just members. I want to enable this growth during my year as Master and will be excited to help each of you deepen you involvement in our lodge and solidify your interest in this fraternity.

          My passion for masonry is in seeing the bonds of friendship and fraternity grow in our brotherhood. When 2009 is drawing to a close, I hope to be able to report that we took every opportunity to spread the cement of brotherly love and that we have strengthened our sacred band of brothers and society of friends. I ask that you join me in taking up your trowel and in making this year great.
