A passion for something is not always logical. The attempt to explain this affliction can be difficult under the best of circumstances. To attach these emotions to an all but forgotten line of automobiles manufactured almost half a century ago. Equipped in many instances with engines smaller that one liter. Coupled with a reputation of being somewhat less that reliable makes it even more difficult. I will do my utmost in these few pages to define what exactly makes rear engine FIATs so appealing.
