This quick change toolpost is specifically designed for small lathes. It is available in versions for the Sherline, Taig, Atlas/Craftsman 6 inch and import 7x10, 7x12 and 7x14 mini-lathes. All parts are CNC machined.
Works just like the toolposts for larger lathes, here shown next to the smallest AXA (Series 100) size for comparison (AXA on the left, our toolpost on the right, click on image for larger picture).

The Haas VF-4 vertical machining center has 50" x 20" x 25" (xyz), (1,270 x 508 x 635 mm) travels, a CT40 spindle that's powered by a 20 hp vector Dual-Drive (Y-Delta) motor running through a 2-speed geared head. It produces 250 ft-lb of torque at 450 rpm.

The Haas VF-2 vertical machining center has 30" x 16" x 20" (xyz), (762 x 406 x 508 mm) travels, a CT40 spindle that’s powered by a 20 hp vector Dual-Drive (Y-Delta) motor. It produces 75 ft-lb of torque at 1,200 rpm, but will also run up to 7,500 rpm in less than 5 seconds.

The SL-20 CNC turning center features a 20" (508 mm) swing with a maximum cutting capacities range of 10" (254 mm) x 20" (508 mm).
