Welcome to the website of Tarrant County Lesbian & Gay Alliance, Inc.

Based in Fort Worth, Texas, "Where the West Begins," fighting for equal rights for gay men and lesbians since 1980.

2008 is a major election year.  As usual, there are candidates who support fairness and equality for all Americans, and those who want to reverse the gains we have made in the gay civil rights movement.  Some even advocate modifying the U.S. Constitution to make it comply with the Bible.

The old saying "people get the government they deserve" applies today more than ever, especially to those who don't want to bother with the issues, the candidates, and voting.

In 2008: Our regular meeting are on the 3rd Thursdays of the month at 6:30 pm at the Stampede Club, 621 Hemphill (at Pennsylvania Ave.)  Fort Worth, TX 76104.  Guests welcome! Call us for information at 817-877-5544. Important: some community activists "wear many hats" and attendance at meetings will vary from month to month.  Please call ahead if you have questions about specific issues.
