8th graders at Lane Middle School to create a multicultural kitchen garden and native plant garden; was part of a team of
Designers that created the garden area for Holladay Park just south of the Lloyd Center

*13 years as a Public Educator as a Dance Specialist in several middle schools in Portland and Vancouver (also taught
P.E. and Wellness), and at Jefferson High School in Portland. Teaching credential still active (5-12 P.E. endorsement),
and would love the opportunity to integrate landscape design, sustainability, the environment, dance, physical education,
etc. at the 5-12 or community college level. I speak French and have taken two years of Spanish (4.0 GPA) - am hoping to
become more fluent in that language as well. I love diversity and a good challenge. I enjoy teenagers and young adults and
get a bit of a kick out of someone questioning my authority; I have no problem having to "prove myself" and earning my students'
respect.
