Scents of Sucess specializes in the making of aged herbal infused oils. These aged herbal infused oils (HIOs) work exceeding well with children, elderly, immune impaired individuals, and animals. HIOs are made to be gentle to the individual. They are not as concentrated as their big brother, the essential oil (one drop of essential oil equals 5 1/2 pounds of herb and extemely concentrated) but yet virtually due the same thing at a lesser concentration. HIOs can be used by themselves. HIOs can be used with a base carrier oil. HIOs can be used with essential oils. HIOS can be used both with essential oils and other base carrier oils. HIOS work well as a substitute for the rarer and hard to find essential oils such as rose, helichrysum, melissa, chaste berry, violet leaf and other herbal oils that are not found as essential oils such as comfrey, dandelion, etc. HIOs are economical in price and easy to use. HIOs work on the spiritual, emotional, and physical levels. They generally tend towards having light to no smell.

     Scents of Success became involved in the making of aged herbal infused oils in the mid-1980's when there was a shortage of juniper berry essential oil and violet leaf essential oil. We started doing research and discovered the way that historically the people made their herbal oils for home use.
