The Shepaug Dam Bald Eagle Observation Area in Southbury, Connecticut is open from the
last weekend of December through mid-March on Wednesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. Reservations are required and may only be made
by calling (800) 368-8954 from December 7th through
March 7th, Tuesday through Friday, between the hours of 9 a.m. and 3 p.m.
IT IS NOT POSSIBLE TO MAKE OR CHANGE RESERVATIONS THROUGH THIS WEBSITE.
3,887 visitors came to the Shepaug Dam during the 2009 bald eagle observation season
(many for the first time). Please join us for the 2010 season! We averaged 5.5 eagles on each day of our
2009 observation season.
