Scheherezade School of Dance specializes in Oriental/Belly Dance and the Folkloric Dances of the Middle East and North
Africa. Ongoing classes are held in the Richmond, Virginia metropolitan area.
Ongoing adult classes for beginners, intermediate and advanced dancers, as well as a summer special topics series
of classes are offered through Henrico County Department of Recreation and Parks.
Additional group classes are held at the Concert Ballet of Virginia Studio in Hanover, VA.
Offered independently are: private classes, and professional and student coaching as well as in depth workshops
and intensive seminars.
Scheherezade School of Dance and Scheherezade Imports Sponsors a yearly study trip to Egypt to attend the
Ahlan Wa Sahlan Dance Festival.
