This page is my dedication to all the shitty companies out there who screw us over with their half-ass products and service. I have had a few bad experiences, and I will detail them here so you know not to purchase products from that company. If you personally have had any bad experiences, let me know the details and we'll send them to the Pit Of Despair. I've enlisted the help of Mr. Hankey to rate the companies, however many Mr. Hankey's there are will tell you how crappy they are. On a scale of 1 - 10, 1 being mildly crappy and 10 being a sewer, this is how I rate the horridness of the company.

Even though it doesn't have very many Mr. Hankey's.
This company has a special place in my hate list.

This one starts when I wanted to buy a case for my CD's so I could bring them along with me in my car without hassle. So I cruised on up to the Media Play intent on buying a Case Logic cd case. Well it just so happened that they were out of stock on Case Logic products at the time. So being the impatient person I am I decided to buy a different brand of cd case. It was really cool, the case was interchangable with a home storage system if you wanted to invest the extra $ to get one and everything.

It worked great, until one day I was listening to a cd in my car and it started skipping. Frustrated I pulled the cd out of my player to inspect it, when I looked at the cd I was astonished to find what almost looked like dust. I got home and tried to clean my cd, nothing changed, it was like the dust was glued to my cd. I started to pull my cd's out of the case to inspect them, only to find that the case had done this to nearly every one.

Needless to say I was upset. But believing in the general goodness of people, and the fact that you don't usually try to piss off your customers I called the company. They were very polite, and offered to send me some free cd cleaning wipes (which did jack shit, 'cause I'd tried that before I called.) I was mildly satisfied with this useless gesture of customer service.

I waited about a month, no stupid little wipes came in the mail (I had already replaced the case with a good brand, Case Logic). I called again, exactly as I had the first time, this time there was not even politeness. I was given the runaround. They told me that the person that handles those things wasn't in right now and they would have them call me asap.

Bullshit! I never received a call, then about a month later (still no wipes) I called again to get the same response. I asked to speak to a manager, I was denied. It was at this point that I gave up.

I am still trying to repair the cd's with a really wonderful invention a Maxell CD/CD-Rom scratch repair kit. It takes a while but I've just about got half of the almost 50 cd's it screwed up fixed.

I just got a really cool contraption to fix my CD's and boy is it worth it! It's called a GameDoctor (a.k.a. SkipDoctor, DVDDoctor, & DataDoctor). I think everyone who owns CD's should own one of these. To check them out go to Digital Innovations website.

This company hasn't done anything to me personally. But they've continually done things to my sister.

Diamond Glass is a windshield replacement company. A pretty profitable business in Utah right now, what with all of the road construction going on and all.

Anyway, quite a while ago my sister had these people replace her windshield. I'm not totally clear on all of the details but I do know they screwed up bad. They didn't even install the windshield properly. But it wasn't totally noticeable, she didn't find out until it rained. Water literally poured through the edges of the windshield and destroyed the mechanism that operates her sunroof.

She called and got really upset with them. They sent someone out to replace the windshield. This time it was installed somewhat properly, but they chopped the hell out of the rubber strip that frames the windshield so it looks like shit. Then about two weeks later the windshield just suddenly cracked, no rock chip or anything.

So, she called them again! They, once again, came out to replace her windshield. Same as last time though it is cracking all over the place, except now they aren't going to fix it.

So my advice is to stay the Hell away from this company. They are providing a horrible service and an inferior product.

If you are in Utah Valley and need auto glass replaced, my suggestion is to go to Ace and Jerry's in Provo. They rock! They provide high quality service and a high quality product. I got a rock chip in my windshield, that I bought from them, and it NEVER cracked.

More to come soon (I promise).

I need some material besides my own. If you've had a nasty experience with a business please e-mail me.
