Violin Lessons – Learn By Ear!
I teach the old-fashioned way – with our violins in our hands.
Together, we'll train your ear to find phrases and melodies on your instrument. I'll show you patterns of fingering and thinking that will make it easier to learn and remember tunes and to improvise solos. You'll also work on your technique, a little bit at a time, so you can enjoy the freedom of playing the way you want. We'll only get into music theory lightly, when the need arises during our playing. So there's no getting bogged down by the cerebral aspects of music.
