Parish announcements

Weekday Mass Schedule: Mass will be celebrated the week of Nov. 8 on Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 9:00 a.m.

Pray the Holy Rosary and Divine Mercy: The holy rosary is prayed every Wednesday after 9:00 a.m. Mass. The Divine Mercy is prayed every Friday after 9:00 a.m. Mass.
Remember the Poor Souls in Pugatory: Offering envelopes are available in the vestibule for those who would like to have your loved ones remembered at all Masses throughout the month of November.
Catholic Services Appeal: The annual diocesan CSA will be conducted Sunday, Nov. 8. Just as we are one in the Body of Christ, we must remember that we are one with other parishes in our diocese. Once a year, our bishop asks each of us to make a commitment to support the work of our diocesan programs and ministries that provide services that no one parish could provide on its own. This effort is a means by which we can all work together to care for the Church by sharing the gifts God has granted us. Our parish goal is 100% participation. Please experience the joy of giving and join us as we work to continue God's work of spirituality, charity and education.
Men's Club/Women's Guild: The men and women of the parish will meet Sunday, Nov. 8 after 9:00 a.m. Mass. All men and women of the parish are invited and encouraged to attend this very important meeting.
Knights of Columbus: The Knights of Columbus will hold a meal for the knights and their families at 7:00 p.m. Monday evening, Nov. 9 followed by their monthly meeting.
Planning Committee: St. Mary's Planning Committee will meet this Tuesday, Nov. 10 at 7:00 p.m.
Bible Study: The prayerbook of ancient Israel has formed the prayer of Jesus and the Church. Learn to make the Psalms of descriptive praise, trust and wisdom your own prayers. Psalms I begins Wednesday, Nov. 11 at 7:00 p.m. and runs for 7 sessions. Contact Pat Martin at 233-0261 or e-mail patinlago@austin.rr.com to register.
Early Childhood Vision Screening: The Lions Club, in collaboration with the Registered Opticians Association of Texas, is sponsoring a vision screening targeting preventable blindness in children ages 1-4 on Saturday Nov. 14 from 10 a.m. - noon in the Parish Acitvity Center. This is a free service to the community.
Hill Country Singers: The HCS will be presenting their 50th anniversary concert at K-Oaks on Nov. 20, 21 and 22. Five members of St. Mary's choir will be participating. Tickets will be sold after Mass next Sunday.
Canned Fruit: Please remember to bring your donations of canned fruit. St. Mary's is committed to filling the shelves with canned fruit at Hill Country Community Ministries.
