Col. Frank Stub Chace

I had the honor to serve under Col. "Stub" Chace in Vietnam in 1968. I remember him more often being with his men, rather than sitting behind a desk.

I just received this email from THE CHACE FAMILY and it is with deep sorrow that I post this. To All: We wanted you to know that Col. Frank C. "Stub" Chace Jr. was "ordered home" on June 5, 2008, precisely 55 years after his graduation from United States Naval Academy. At the time of his peaceful passing he was surrounded by his family. Funeral arrangements are pending. We thank you all for your continued thoughts and prayers. THE CHACE FAMILY
