Wetland Amendment Study

Photos taken 5/9/03 5/12 and 5/13 of a simulated rainfall event.
Pumping began at 9:00 on 5/13 and finished at 1:00.

Water will be pumped from Beasley lake.
Pump on loan from Charles Ed at Mississippi State.

After an elbow water is directed into the wetland via the steel culvert.
Steel pipe extends a few inches into the culvert. The culvert will take the edge off the high flow rates to minimze scouring the the entrance of the wetland.
Water levels have fallen to expose the 4" field tile.
