Late Stage Wetland Construction

These photos
were taken 4/19 and 4/20 and show the final elevation of the constructed
wetland.

The outlet
side of the third dike. Here the two steel pipes and the two plastic,
'draw down' pipes are visable. The large steel pipes allow rapid flow-through
after rain events and the perforated plastic pipes allow slow drainage
down to a lower elevation. This way the wetland has a large, short-term
capacity and a smaller long-term capacity.

These photos

.58" of rain.

The last
cell accumulated just an inch or two of runoff
