I was reading some different books based on different spiritual paths that use magick and noticed that the colors they use for the quarters and for spells are different. Is there any color system that works better than the others, if so which one?

Answer
Well depending on the path you follow or decide to follow could be one issue you might want to consider. The different color systems mainly have to do with the area the beliefs or path came from. Each culture holds different meaning for different symbols and colors. To answer your question about color systems, my answer is this. Yes there is a color system that works better than the others. That system is the one you best connect with. If you decide to follow a certain belief culture and feel strange using a different color system than the one it uses then by all means use the one that goes with the beleif system. But if at all possible I always suggest with going with the item or in this case color system that feels the best to you. Everyone's perceptions of what a color means is different. So to that note if you want to develop your own color system then by all means do so. The more you personalize things and connect with them the better your spells and working will come out.
