The pups turned 7 weeks old on April 26. They have been enjoying their daily trips outside in the yard. It was a challenge to get these last individual photos. They are on the go, go, go and don't want to hold still for a minute. Too many things to explore. We have been bringing the pups upstairs three at a time to let them investigate new surroundings and have more one-on-one socialization. It was fun watching them get their footing on hardwood floors. The excitement of the past week included their "escape" from romper room. Somehow they got the latch loose, and when the kids got home from school they were greeted with the pups making their way up the stairs! They've also been busy little beavers...literally. Apparently they became bored with all the puppy chew toys and thought it would be a good idea to chew on a door frame and start to chew a hole in the drywall! Never a dull moment. It is hard to believe that they will be heading to their new homes in just over a week. We will miss the little munsters but are thrilled that we have found wonderful homes where they will be hunting and family companions for many years to come. They can look forward to a variety of hunting opportunities on grouse, woodcock, pheasant, duck etc. We hope our new owners will share photos and stories on their pup's progress so we can continue to update our website.
