Registration from 9:00-9:30. Tournament starts at 9:45

Format: Rated tournament of 5 rounds. 45 minutes/30 stones in 5 minutes byo-yomi. round-robin/modified swiss-style pairings by the director, Charles Alden 919-384-7698; handicaps if needed based on AGA rated games.Beginners welcome.

Please note the special format. This will be a long day. 

 Entry Fee: 20 dollars.

AGA membership required. Temporary membership is 5 dollars.

SPECIAL for students 18 and younger. Entry fee is only 10 dollars (5 for the tournament and 5 for temporary AGA membership).

Cash prizes will be awarded based on the number of entries. Please register early so we can ensure optimum playing conditions. Even if you are in the "maybe" column, please let us know. Thanks.

Easy Directions - site is at a residence: From I-85
(either direction) take
Exit 173 (Cole Mill Rd.) Go north 3.1 miles on Cole
Mill Rd. At stoplight
just past the river take a left onto Old Cole Mill Rd.
(same as entrance to
Eno State Park)

Immediately thereafter take the first right (Eno Woods
Trail). The second
right (1/4 mile uphill) is Laurel Creek Way 3637
Laurel Creek Way is the
second house on the left.
