Diamantina Tabby Cluster
This is truly the one of the most powerful crystal I own. It is a 9" tall Tabby cluster with tantric twin alongside with another tabby sticking out the back of the main Tabby. The base is a combination of two Tabby's joined as Tantric twins but only one survived and is growing. It has a growth interference along one side from a previous large crystal that is no longer there.
Two smaller lasers are jutting from the base that extends forward to create where the original twin form and other two Tabby's are growing with perfect points.
I just realized looking a the single Tabby growing out the back it is a continuation of the original base crystal! WOW! This makes it a Penetrator crystal as well. I have cleared in a bucket of salt water overnight, as we live on a sailboat and saltwater for cleansing is crystal. I left him in the sun to dry and welcomed this "stone person" into our boat and lives.
Diamantina Mine in Minas Gerais Brazil is famous for its unique crystals. They have a really different finish. Not matted like the Lemurians but a definite pattern of right angles and striations. The clarity is one of the best I've ever seen an any crystal. " Like Water".
"Brazil is worldly famous for its mineral production. Practically every mineral found in the world can be found in Brazil, specially in the state of Minas Gerais, and in particular, the Northeast of the state: the Jequitinhonha Valley.
In the upper Jequitinhonha valley, where the "Sierra do Espinhaço" divides the state of Minas Gerais in two important river basin, is located the historical town of Diamantina ( 1,120 meters ), founded by gold hunters in 1729. Diamantina is the main gate to the mineral riches of the Jequitinhonha valley.

This is how Quartz Crystals are found. Pockets of Silicone dioxide, water and what ever else is around cools and turns to crystal. The hard part is mining them without damaging them.

This specimen is over 12" Tall and weighs about 9 pounds. Notice the same finish with the unusual patterned finish. Extremely clear with no polishing. I really get a strong electric tingle from these.

This is one the first Diamantina crystal I purchased from a wonderful gentleman named Luiz at "Crystal Light in Van Nuys, Ca.. He and his family are from Columbia but has family/friends in Brazil and he assured me he has cornered the market on fine Diamantina Crystals. I've been to his shop and I can tell you he is right. He has the largest and finest collection I've ever seen. The center crystal cluster is 12" long and 3" wide. I found this like my first tabby cluster under a shelf in the back of the warehouse. What a find!

The above photo is of a very rare Smokey Diamantina Wand. I got this from an estate I purchased in the San Francisco Bay area. I have never seen a Smokey Diamantina crystal. Notice the same patterns on the sides I can see though this crystal when held up to the light. Very clear and in excellent condition. I had this crystal for months before I realized what it was. I started collecting the Diamantina Crystals and watch the markings. Some are today trying to sell Diamantina crystals as Lemurians or "Atlantian crystals" you have to be diligent to keep your collection intact.

This 9" Diamantina Wand is water clear. It has some of the patterning on the sides and some of the area where the original matrix has been washed out. I really like these crystals and use them for grid building.
