Elestial Quartz

There are so many forms of Elestials I will not try to cover them all. They can have a single dominate point and other crystal growth along the sides or a deeply etched termination. All colors and shapes. Elestials quartz seem to be a speicfic type of crystalline growth which only occur in a certain area in Minas Gerais, Brazil. They have been called Skeletal or Jacare or Crocodile Quartz.

Crystal Guild member Elizabeth Hamilton has the perfect solution. Check out the Magestic Quartz web page. It has the most comprehensive coverage of a often misunderstood subject with several excellent photos.

The photos and examples below are what I have available in my collection to show the characteristics of the Elestial Quartz that I have on hand.

Splendid natural smokey quartz elestial. Wonderful large, display specimen. This beauty has the most incredible etching and layering on three of its five sides. Absolute superb translucent clarity which allows one to travel deep within to view the internal structure, including numerous rainbows and some 'mud'! The last picture depicts the bottom of the specimen which shows the continuous elestial formation as well as it's light smokey coloration. This beauty has it all, when it comes to elestial formations. The color ranges from a light smokey on the bottom through to a dark (almost black) smokey periphery on the crystal growths and formations. This baby is the epitome of an elestial and a real beauty!

Smokey quartz can be used to gently dissolve negative energies and emotional blockages. An excellent grounding and protective stone, providing a powerful force field around the user/environment. Refines vibratory energies in the state of meditation, allowing for clarity of thought.

Large Elestial Smoky Quartz Crystal

This is a very good sized light smoky elestial quartz crystal with a few hints of purple amethyst. It is complete on all sides, and only has a small rough area on the back where it was once attached to another piece of quartz. All of the tips are in good condition. Some call the indented area's Skeletal Quart.

This Elestial Smoky crystal is what you find when searching for Elestial crystals. This crystal is 3.5" tall and 4" wide. Weight is 1 pound 6.6 oz. I am still looking for a good size Citrine Elestial crystal. They really get me. The only one I found I really wanted was 24K!
