We, the guild would like to have a place for new collectors to go compare crystals. Learn what is being said by others involved in the collecting and studying quartz crystals. We are hopefully maintain a standard for future collectors to use for reference. A visual reference to compare what you find.

Authors like Katrina Raphaell, Melody, Robert Simmons & Maisha Ahsian, Dorothy Roeder, Judy Hall and Shelly Kaehr, Ph.D. have all written on the metaphysical properties of Crystals. Katrina goes deeply into channeling the metaphysical and healing properties of various crystals along with Jane Ann Dow.

Melody has prepared an excellent and accepted reference book called, "METAPHYSICAL PROPERTIES OF CRYSTALS" which has become the leading reference book on the subject. Judy Hall has also written a wonderful guide to crystals with color photos called: "THE CRYSTAL BIBLE". These are only a few that are out there. Shelly Kaehr Ph.D. has what I think is a very interesting book on lemurians called: "LEMURIAN SEEDS, HOPE FOR HUMANITY". I am sure there are many out there.

What I found was as to study crystals like the Lemurian Seed Crystals and the very clear Diamantina mine crystals is very specialized. Other quartz crystals with different inclusions like iron sulfate, i.e. Citrine and Magnesium with iron, i.e. Amethyst; When cooled they change the color and properties of the individual crystal adding the properties of the inclusion matter to the quartz.

Different facets, things like "foils", "Veils", crystals like Generators, Isis Windows, Time link windows, Penetrators, Bridge crystals that identify certain natural configurations have opened a whole new world to me. I can go somewhere that is "out of the Earth" not made by man or rebuked by science. Interpreted by many, Yes, but all natural and therefore can be what ever I resonate them to be through time. Adjusting my own vibration to make myself open to the spiritual world of crystals and stones.

Collecting over the years has showed the differences in these crystals to a practiced eye. Feeling the energy as it interacts with our electromagnetic field is altogether different. The "folklore" surrounding crystals is Subjective true but the feelings we receive are very personal indeed.

Today many people collecting quartz crystals, looking for spiritual growth, that is, going back to the "old ways" to find their answers within themselves, not satisfied with the old world's organized religion; (the world is not the center of the universe) or today's Science; (show me a flying saucer to prove there is life in the universe).

A crystal is "tangible", piece of the planet we came from, we are also partially made of Silicone Dioxide; you can hold it your hand or place on your body and have a physical reaction, strike two and see sparks and light in a darkenn room; regardless of your religious beliefs. When you feel the "tingle" of a quartz crystal the first time it will open your eyes to the wonders of Quartz Crystals and all the other crystals and minerals in our world. God is alive and well in all things.

Most of us, simply love the way quartz crystal sparkle and are fascinated with the clarity. We don't have an explanation for their love of these pieces of "petrified ice" as the ancient's once called them. For what ever the reason we want to collect and hold crystals, there is a very strong attraction and a basic desire to have them around.

I encourage you reading this to travel into the enchanted world of quartz crystals, feel what they have for YOU.

This is a photo of the larger crystals getting a Sun Bath onboard our sailboat, "ALLURE". When we get a new crystal we clear the previous energy they absorb by soaking them overnight in Salt Water, (Ocean water), then dry by the Sun's light. I have mounted the larger points on Teak stands so they will be easier to show and have less chance to get their tips damaged. You can imagine how difficult it is to put all these away when Annie and I want to go sailing. However we love our collection and have stories for each specimen.

Brazilian Lemurian Seed

and Mine Collection

This is a "TRUE" LEMURIAN SEED CRYSTAL. Notice the extreme horizontal striations (bars) as if cut with a laser. The matte finish seems to come from being sand blasted maybe? Most have a Pink hue but not all. This crystal has never been "polished" or ground to create the impression of a Lemurian. Finest specimens speak to you of their authenticity in the form of impressions both physical and spiritual they give to you. Listen and Feel.

These Lemurians Crystal links above are widely accepted from different parts of the world. They are quite valuable now that they have gained popularity with eBay and the vast number of new crystal collectors. However, with so many new collectors and people wanting Lemurians to work, authentic examples are needed. When you find and handle one you might get an electric "tingle" as your bodies electrical field is raised and adjust the the quartz crystals higher vibrational rate. Every crystal has a different "potential" as do we humans and everything in our existence. A balance is reached when all quartz is handled, you have to be sensitive enough to feel it. Sometimes it makes me laugh, it tickles and other time I don't feel a thing.

It is fun to find a quartz crystal that gives you this awareness. Wander around a gem show or crystal store and wait for one to catch your eye, calm yourself and gently hold the quartz crystal in your left hand, close your eyes and squeeze it; see if you don't feel something tingling, moving up your arm to the back of your head? This is the state you need to be in to work with crystals. Very subtle and personal. The more you work with quartz crystals the more sensitive you will become.

Kashmirian Crystals

I call this very special quartz crystal my "kashmirian" It is not of the recognized Lemurian group however when handling this crystal I have never gotten such an electric shock or felt such ancient energy. Please Click on link above or photo to read story.

Diamantina Mine Crystals

Diamantina Mine Collection

Diamantina Mine crystals are some of the most precious and clear crystals I collect. They have a distinct patterning on the sides that are raised in areas. These are unique in this respect. I find them easier to "resonate"/ tingle with than the Lemurians. (See Link above). They come from a Diamond mine in the Jequitinhonha Valley in the State of Minas Gerais, Brazil.

This Tibetan Temple Crystal is over 12" tall and about 9 pounds. Tibetan Crystal are known for the black inclusions. I was told it was ancient organic matter reduced to simple carbon when heated in the earth's crust while the silicone dioxide was still in liquid form prior to cooling and making the crystal.

Madagascar Crystals are unusual. I found this huge cluster years ago and have cherished it ever since. This cluster is 8" tall and 5"
wide. 4 pounds. the pink and orange color is from the high iron content around these crystals when they were formed.

Cathedral Crystals look like a church or cathedral with many points or spires. The wonderful thing I see in this new member of my crystal family is the relationship between the single massive point and the castellation that has grown above. I am calling this wonderful temple crystal a Cathedral Lightbrary. Due to the light it emits from any source in the room. Notice the pattern on the large facet facing us. This is what you get to enjoy and try to read when the facets are not ground or "polished". Very interesting indeed.

Elestial crystals seem to be an enigma. They are so diverse people have invented a new language to describe them. i.e. Jacare, Allagator Crystals to name a few. All in the best of intention I am sure however it makes it confusing to collectors.

The best description was shown to me by Luis at Spiritual Light Imports in Van Nuys, California. One of the foremost importer of Lemurian seed crystals and the Diamantina Mine crystals. I saw him last week and he told me "Elestial growth is like scar tissue on a human after a healed injury". He showed me a place on a cathedral crystal where it had been irradiated in the Earth, a black line going along and through. The surrounding area was covered with Elestial growth as above. This was a good example for me, however Elestial growth does not need another crystal to grow on they can be individual with many colors and configurations.

Corintos Brazil Crystals

This large quartz crystal is from the Corintos area of Minas Gerais, Brazil. They are known for there special energy and rarity. This is what I got from the merchant I got this beauty from. It's H 13.3" x W 5.3". and 14 pounds. It is one of the finest I've seen and the only one I have in my collection.

This is the correspondence I received from the merchant I bought this huge crystal from.

"Corinto quartz is an exceptionally high vibration quartz with angelic energy! Corintos also bear wonderful clarity, particularly at their points - even the opaque to semi-opaque areas, wisps and veils within a Corinto have a crisp, frostiness to them. A very common attribute of Corintos are what I refer to as meteor marks on the sides of the crystal. These remind me of what a crystal would look like that has weathered a meteor shower. These markings certainly add an interesting energy to these gems! The energy of Corinto quartz is unlike any other quartz I've worked with. It is clear, crisp, ethereal and powerful! They exude a radiance like no other clear quartz beings I've had the pleasure of meeting! Word of caution: I strongly recommend grounding via other crystals/stones and whatever other methods you use to ground when working with your Corinto! Unless, of course, your goal is to spend the day in the ethers! :-) When I pick up a Corinto, I immediately feel the incredible influx of high vibration energy into my crown chakra, which flows down through the other chakras in a cleansing and clearing sweep. Then it is as though someone opened the tap and let the energy pour through continually! Quite a wonderful feeling and experience! I find these treasures incredible for use in meditation as they instantly shift me into a meditative state."

Double Terminated, Elestial Point Crystal

This crystal is huge. 15 inches long 5 inches wide and a whopping 15 pounds. I is being displayed on two light stands. This is a good way to display such a large crystal. Quartz eagerly drinks up any light around it and allows you to travel through with your imagination. The speckle in the crystal is a Green Chorite inclusion. One termination is called a chisel point, or wedge point. [left] The other end is a Cathedral termination or "ET". The horizontal crystal the intersects with this point is intact. Just inside is a Manifestation crystal. What a surprise! These crystals grow independant from a matrix, growing at both ends at the same time.

Golden Healer

The name Golden Healer defines the color of the Citrine Crystal. It is actually an impurity in the otherwise clear quartz crystal. Usually a small amount of manganese/iron, about 40 ppm. This large Golden Crystal has some Mica on the bottom. I don't know if it has colored the crystal or if it's a Citrine. At any rate it has an Elestial tip with some empathy damage. I really resonate with this crystal, it was part of an estate that came to me.

Monticellite Included, Smokey, Tabby Crystal

Here is one for the collector. Monticellite is a gray clay that quartz grows in some times along with many other elements. This Tabby crystal has been polished to allow one to see inside at the several mysteries. First there is a Manifestation Crystal that has grown inside the original crystal. you can see it in the center laying on its side pointing to the right. some of the crystal has been lost to the polishing, however it is all there and intact. This crystal looks very "lumpy" but in fact has 6 sides that are all polished like glass. I am using my Selenite Wand to raise one side. Notice how the light is captured by it. I feel Selenite is way underrated for power and light work.

SHIVA LINGAM

These ancient stones are harvested only during India's dry season before the monsoon when the river is low. Local people go to the river with oxen and rope to pry out the larger stones. They are then carefully cleaned and hand polished. Only about thirty very large stones are removed per year. Their natural elongated egg shape is considered masculine, and the deep markings are feminine. They are revered as extremely sacred stones with the perfect balance of male/female energy, and are the same shape as Shiva's third-eye marking in his forehead; thus the name Shiva Lingam.

Find outlets for your precious crystals", like the free flowing "crystal fountain" ( my example below). It is an expression for my love of water flowing over Earths Gems. The Bamboo ties in organic life with its soothing green leaves. They are growing from the same crystal elixir pond. I use distilled water and the Bamboo flourish

What a wonderful way to display your finds and have the benefit of arranging and rearranging to clear your crystals as you please. Collectors will know most of these crystals. I am building these for collectors locally that want the sound of water flowing and need to display their crystals in a more exotic setting than a shelf. You can build your own with little expense a lot of fun finding the right platter/bowl, a fish tank pump and what ever you want to add.
