Common Glass sold as Quartz Crystal!

 

Isn't this a perfect double terminated clear crystal? notice the nice faires and foils. Must have cost a forutne! Actually I only paid $24.00 for it! It's made in China, That is they melt "GLASS" pour their crystals to simulate the real thing. Not all Chinese merchants are this unscruplus but there are enough.

 

Here is a fantastic generator with a beautiful and extremely rare red inclusion. Unfortunately it is also "GLASS"! The cost was cheap and I knew it was a fraud. I liked the color. Now I wish I wouldn't have encouraged the unscrupulous dealer. They also come in bright Yellow and Orange. BEWARE!

PLEASE BE CAREFUL WHEN BUYING CRYSTALS YOU ARE NOT FAMILIAR WITH, IF YOU DON'T KNOW WRITE ME OR ONE THE MEMBERS TO HELP YOU. Remember the store clerk is only trying to sell an "intem". No morality there or the owner would not buy this stuff from the wholesalers.
