The mission of TLT is three-fold:

Promote for the benefit of the general public the preservation of natural resources, principally in but not limited to, the town of Trumbull (Connecticut).

Acquire lands to preserve said lands as natural open spaces, and to open said lands to the general public.

Engage in and promote the study of and education regarding natural resources.
