The Dave Beck's HO Layout DVD
independent chapters are accessible from the root menu.
Four mainline inspection trips allow one to essentially ride the
around the layout.
One is done using a sequence of photographic stills. Another uses zooms
of the photographs to simulate motion.
The remaining 2 were shot with a small video camera which
rode on a special car around the layout in both directions.
"Dave's Trains" covers the layout, its history, and the display of
Dave's CB&Q steam locomotives at Mendota's Union Depot Railroad
Museum. It is a mixture of
stills and video, dating from 1957.
The "Tour of the Scenery" concentrates on the non-train aspects of the
layout and is a mixture of video and stills. "Dave's HO
World" is a series of stills shot primarily by Dan Hollis at a meet at
Dave's layout shortly
after his death. The final chapter is a slide
of photos of Dave Beck's collection of CB&Q steam locomotives.
