The blueprint copy was in the collection of Leonard Miekiszak and was donated to the Burlington Route Historical Society.
The drawings were cleaned of dirt and noise to match the original. In places the lines are faint and somewhat faded on the original and have been kept that way in the copy. The data block in the lower right corner of the drawing is badly faded. DRAWN B.L.W. 6932 seems to be in the corner. This drawing is more detailed than the drawing shown in Corbin and Kerka's "Steam Locomotives of the Burlington Route" on p 229. 40144 shows details of the tank including the internal arrangement. The scale used in 40144 is 1" to 1'.
