Charles T. "Chuck" Langenfeld, WHS Class of '65, was a US Navy Hospital Corpsman who was killed while he was
serving in Vietnam in April of 1968.
A scholarship fund in memory of Charles T. Langenfeld was started in 1968, at which time the first scholarship of $50.00
was awarded to a WHS Senior. An award has been presented each year for 36 years. The current award is $1,000.
The Langenfeld Foundation is comprised of a board of directors and officers, all members of the WHS Class of 1965 who
reside in Watertown. The present board members include:

The current balance of the fund is about $35,000. This amount has accrued from donations, two Terry Redlin print
