* Is Clovermead based on anyone in particular?

My wife says she talks the way I do. This startles me, but I defer to expert opinion.

* Is the picture of her on the cover the way she really looks like?

Which cover? I think the American cover by Leo and Diane Dillon is beautiful, but Clovermead looks a bit older than twelve on it. The Australian cover makes her look the right age--and pretty close to the way I imagined her.

* Is there going to be a movie?

Oh, I hope so. I have a list of locations, actors, and background music all ready for the movie director to ignore. Plus, I want to be an extra--I don't want to play a bear-priest, but most anything else will do. In a perfect world, Whit Stillman will direct. But, um, no-one from Hollywood has called my agent yet.
