Lucy was roughly 7-9 years old when she came to us at Woofy Cookies on Easter morning of 1999.
I found her on my doorstep. Passed out, sick, bleeding around her neck from a flea collar that was too small for her.
She had lost most of her hair & had recently delivered puppies (though we were never able to locate them).
She was literally on death's doorstep that day.
We took Lucy into our family
that day & with the help of our veteranian, nursed her back to health over the course of the next year.
She was the sweetest, most loving companion anyone could ask for. Lucy gave all her love to us &
lived the rest of her days happy, well loved & extremely spoiled! She loved nothing more than just to nap next to
us on the sofa and take long walks & rides in the car. Lucy passed away on September 10th, 2006 from
old age. And we miss her tremendously. Her spirit lives on here at Woofy Cookies and we do alot of good work
in her name.
